Meet The Catalyst Crew
The owner of Catalyst, Mathew was raised in the Turks and Caicos, Mat began taking T sailing lessons at age 5 and has spent his life on the water ever since. A PADI Open Water Scuba instructor, Mat also has a BS in Marine Biology. He has completed the RYA STCW (Standards of Training, Certification & Watchkeeping) and maintains a TCI Captains License. With more than 30 years in the Turks and Caicos and its surrounding waters, Mat knows the area and environment like the back of his hand.
Born and raised in the Turks and Caicos, Morgan has spent most of her life snorkeling and scuba diving in the water surrounding Turks and Caicos. She is very passionate about the Marine environment and loves showing it off to other people. She has a Bachelor’s degree in photography and loves taking underwater photographs. Morgan is a certified day skipper for Motor and sailboats. She found her passion working in the tourist boating industry, as she gets to share her favorite parts of the island with her guests.
A young eager and dedicated islander, who was convinced and has carried on with being in water sports / the tourism industry!!

Born in USA, raised in Turks and Caicos islands. As an adult was in TCI law enforcement and then found a passion for fast cars/bikes/boats music, Watersports and fishing. I run my own DJ company and work as a full day Captain. I have 2 young boys who I hope to inspire to love the ocean as I do!

Captain Sam has been involved in boats and sailing since he could walk. By the age of six he was sailing mirror dinghies and crewing on larger day sailing boats. In spite of entering a different profession rather than his chosen one he managed to continue sailing both as an amateur and a professional. He has covered a few miles on various seas around the world. Finally after many years he has returned to his true passion, sailing his own boat, Metta*, beautifully restored by himself. Nothing gives him more pleasure than introducing everyone to the joy of sailing. Having lived for 38 years in the Turks and Caicos, not only can he safely show you the waters but he can share any number of yarns, most of which are true. Not quite the ancient mariner but he is working on it!
